Have only made the chocolate leaf cake so far for a family get together at a first wedding anniversary. It went down really well with the chocolate lovers! The chocolate leaves were fiddly (my first go at anything like this) but it looked really impressive. Being organised, having everything to hand and having patience, especially patience!! it should be possible to make any of these cakes look respectable. I hope!
The choice of cake decoration ranges from childrens cakes to fancier celebratory cakes and are great for beginners while giving ideas to more established decorators. Well worth the money.
This book got me interested in a cake decorating course, simply put but when followed acheive good results. Would recommend it to those wanting to attept to decorate a cake for the first time and those wanting some inspiration.
